Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Kim — a clinical social worker and relational systems consultant. I founded Compassion Forward after years of sitting in the tension between what we say we value, and what actually happens in our teams, our care systems, and ourselves.
I’ve worked in mental health, social services, and leadership coaching — and I know how lonely and overwhelming it can feel to lead with heart in spaces that aren’t built for it.
My approach blends:
- Trauma-informed clinical practice
- Organizational and DEI consulting
- Culturally responsive facilitation
- Relationship-centered strategy
I walk with my clients through the discomfort, complexity, and opportunity that comes with transformation — and I do it with care, clarity, and honesty.

The values that drive everything I do
Compassion:
As a practice, not a performance
Accountability:
With ourselves and with each other
Sustainability:
Because change that burns you out isn’t change that lasts
Humility:
We don’t have all the answers — but we’re committed to asking the right questions

Let’s Move Compassion Forward
You don’t need to figure this out alone. You just need a guide who can help you name what’s not working, co-create a path forward, and walk with you as you make change that matters.
We’re not here to fix you. We’re here to build with you.
